I shot this on Tuesday night in Nashville at get-together for a bunch of us radio personalities. Seeing as we are getting calls for "If Heaven Wasn't So Far Away" I figure you'd enjoy this! We also got to meet Martina McBride, Steel Magnolia, and several other bands as well! I'll have some pictures up to share soon!
The Four Best Words Ever Get Spoken This Weekend

...and it isn't "I love you (insert name here)!"
Nope, it's "Pitchers and Catchers report". Spring Training starts up this weekend for the MLB and I can't tell you how excited I am. Of course there are always things different if ever so slightly about all 30 clubs. Players hit free agency or get traded, others retire. It's the nature of the beast.
However it happens, it sometimes hits the fans hard. Case in point the young boy in the following video. Not only is he a Texas Ranger fan, but his favorite player is Michael Young, who was recently regulated to being a super utility infielder and designated hitter. Young requested the Rangers to trade him. Watch how this young baseball fan takes the news. This is true anguish and pain. I doubt that any future young women in his life could cause him this kind desperate heartbreak that causes him to resort to finding new numbers for Young.
I thought removing your hat was a nice gesture kid. You're taking it like a champ.
I hope you have a fantastic weekend and a great Valentine's Day!
Valentine's Day Is Almost Here...How About Some White Castle?

Tell you what, why go for an expensive all-out dinner that gives you portions fit for a hamster when you can enjoy some of the famous sliders over at White Castle for Valentine's Day? Well you can. White Castle has been doing this for a good bit it seems, but you can make a reservation for Valentine's Day. What you get is a Valentine's Day special. The special: a "steamy," "candlelit dinner" of 10 sliders, two 21-ounce sodas and French fries for $10.49, "leaving plenty of room in the budget for flowers, candy and entertainment." Staff will also upload a photo of your "romantic rendezvous" to the White Castle website. The restaurants will also be decked out in "theme" décor. I found this video on YouTube to give you an idea about an idea that is full of win.
Believe it or not a White Castle in Louisville even had a White Castle Wedding.
How could this not be the best possible idea in Valentine's Day history? It at least runs a close second to the time that candy companies figured out just how profitable the 14th of February is along with that other day, the 31st of October.
Happy Valentine's Day to all this weekend. The Moose Man will be spending his V-Day happily pondering all the 2011 MLB season holds as pitchers and catchers report for the St. Louis Cardinals Spring Training in Jupiter, FL. I may even watch a tearjerker movie.
The Expendables sounds about right.
What's Your Favorite Super Bowl 45 Commercial?

So Super Bowl 45 has come and gone. Brett Favre is weeping somewhere in the fetal position as Green Bay (Go Packs!!) bring home some brand spankin' new hardware for their Trophy Case. Of course for me the best part of the Super Bowl is the commercials. So without further ado, here are the spots that I found tickled my funny bone the best.
Actually I lied. The first video here is the first trailer of a movie I have been awaiting for 3 years. In fact I think the term is actually "geeking out". In fact I had what can only be described as "the geek out felt 'round the world". This is the trailer for Marvel Studios' "Captain America: The First Avenger".
There were several movie trailers I enjoyed actually. Marvel Studios has another movie coming out this Summer as well called "Thor".
But now on to the actual ads. The ad that I thought was the best one out of all of them was the Doritos ad titled "Housekeeping".
Of all the ads that aired during this year's Super Bowl, which was your favorite?
